The ability to consume media and knowledge while I skateboard to work has changed my worldview. I have found myself also more interested in following views I don’t necessarily agree with in order to avoid the echo chamber of social media (as best I can).

For that reason, on “Yes” day I wanted to follow up by hearing what Lyle Shelton had to say when conceding defeat. To my surprise he was graceful in defeat. Democracy and neoliberalism always produces winners and losers. So often I feel like a loser but finally- here in this moment I felt like a winner. “
